In this version, you can pay extra close attention to the backwards guitar riff from Mental Journal Entry #1 playing at the one-minute mark! ... while I'm at it, anyone notice it's almost exactly split in half at the "stop" mark? INTENTIONAL. Also, first remix of mine to use 3/4-- OR to have an actual BPM change! Also, I hope this doesn't irk anyone too badly musically after hearing all the motifs in the actual film-- because nearly everything is exactly half-a-step pitched down except for the first motif, which is exactly how it should be. ... Oh, hey, and this was my first time equalizing stuff. I listened to it in four different headphones to test it out until it sounded passable to me. ... Earpods are really weird-cool. Oh-- and pay attention to the gaw-geous choir pieces.

... And... if anyone's wondering exactly which tracks of the soundtrack I used (first time I didn't just get the chords out of the movie itself, too!), it is as follows: Tracks 1-5, 8-10, 13-15, 18-22. ... so, uh... ... I pretty much used everything. ...

I can't believe that I was given the opportunity to do this for Kurt. I still can't! And I went to sleep deliriously thinking the last four months of production on this were an elaborate dream I constructed after watching Shuffle. *cracks up* I can't even begin to say how absolutely grateful I am for his patient, empathetic, constructive criticism of me. He made this video so much better! (He fine-tuned many of the musical elements in the middle, came up with the idea of using the colour version for the frames, and the multiple frames projection in the second half of the video!... WOW!!) I'm unspeakably lucky that Mr. Kuenne is both a gentleman and a scholar... and is so receptive of those who watch his films. His heartfelt, inspiring work is truly reflected in who he is, and vice versa.
